Medicare covers the services of specially qualified nonphysician practitioners such as clinical psychologists, clinical social workers, nurse practitioners, clinical nurse specialists, physician assistants, certified registered nurse anesthetists, certified nurse midwives, and speech-language pathologists, as allowed by state and local law for medically necessary services.

CoPayment: The amount you need to pay.

You pay 20% of Medicare-approved amounts.

Medicare Part: The part of Medicare that pays for this service or supply.
