Nurse's Notes

Bariatric Bath Chair with Back:
  • Very functional as well as economical heavy duty bath chair.

Bariatric Shower Chair with Back by Invacare:
  • High weight capacity along with deep and wide seating surface allows much better comfort and bath safety for larger individuals.

    Folding Shower Chair by Invacare:
  • This portable shower chair solves many problems for those with limited space at home or who are on the go. It seems to work just as well as the non-folding seats. Also consider investing in a raised toilet seat or commode frame for the same bathroom safety reasons and to allow more independence.

    HEAVY DUTY I-Fit Shower Chairs:
  • Buy 2 to save money and have available in more then one location within home or for travel purposes. Also good buy for facilities needing multiple shower chairs. Many homes do not come equipped with a walk-in shower or your loved ones do not have access to it. When this situation arises, I usually advise families to get a shower seat which allows for safe and comfortable bathing in tubs or shower stalls. These seats are made not to slip and allow your loved ones to take their time bathing. TIP: Recommend getting hand held shower to reduce water leakage and add to comfort. If your budget permits be sure to buy the seat with the back as it is alot more comfortable according to many patients.
