Bariatric Bed in a Bag for Hospital Beds

These sheets are new and very hard to find but necessary to fit larger hospital bariatric beds properly. This set also includes a comfortable cotton thermal blanket. Regular flat twin sheets are too short and regular fitted ones do not fit. When the head of bed or foot of bed is elevated improper fitting sheets will simply pop off. TIP: I always advise caregivers to put a draw sheet on the bed by folding a flat sheet in half placing it across center of bed under loved one's lower trunk/buttocks. Allows easier turning and moving of your loved ones in bed.
Some other items to consider adding to your loved one's comfort in bed are convoluted foam bed mattress pads (blue eggcrate style). Another are bed rails or a bed support device to enable more security and independent movement in bed by loved ones. Caregivers benefit as well by enduring less strain on their backs from pulling and lifting their loved ones. For those with incontinent problems, reusable or disposable bed pads can also save caregivers valuable time by reducing laundry demands.
