The Balance Beam Scale, the scale you find in your physician's office, provides unmatched accuracy and durability demanded in the medical profession. Rugged, chrome-plated zinc die cast beam with engraved, paint-filled, easy-to-read graduations. Simple in-field recalibration. Measurements in pounds and kilos Steel base with DURA-TOP™ cover eliminates peeling. Durable baked enamel. Base: 20"D x 10-3/8"W x 3-3/8"H. 5-year warranty. This 402 model has all the features of the 400 model below with the addition of a sturdy, steel measuring rod for height measurements from 30"-78". Heavy duty steel base and lever system. DURA-TOP platform cover is easy to clean and easy to assemble. Measures weight up to 350 pounds in 1/4-pound increments (most household scales are accurate only to the pound). A large, easy-to-read measuring bar with engraved pound increments make weights easier to read. Unlike many home models, it operates precisely when used on carpeting. Non-slip, vinyl-covered platform measures 10-3/8 by 14 inches. Hardened steel pivots and bearings; heavy-gauge enameled steel base and upright. Maximum-strength, unitized 3/32" steel, low-profile, non-tip base with steel boxed levers, 3/16" hardened pivots and hardened "V" bearings. Drawn metal headhorn/pillar construction with protective rolled edges, rounded corners and baked enamel finish.
