A licensed in-home care agency in Washington State. We provide non-medical in-home care to individuals with developmental disabilities, mental health problems, and elderly persons needing assistance.
A personal home care aide assists elderly or disabled adults and children with daily living activities at the person`s home. The home care worker may keep house (making beds, doing laundry, washing dishes) and prepare meals. He or she may also assist individuals in taking needed medication, arrange doctor’s visits, and supervise individuals whose behavior may be inappropriate. Home care providers also monitor the individuals they serve for changes in their medical, mental, and emotional state so that care plans may be revised.
Home care workers receive ongoing supervision and training from the agency. Training includes the state required “Fundamentals of Caregiving” and 10 hours per year of training in topics directly related to the job.
Our agency also operates specialized adult family homes to serve individuals with mental illness. We have state contracts to serve those with Medicaid Personal Care hours.
