At ComForcare, we provide non-medical home care to individuals living at home on senior living communities. We know that a one size fits all approach will not work. We respect that each client’s situation is unique and deserves to be individualized to best fit the client’s needs. Whether seniors require transportation to leisurely activities or assistance with mobility and pain management for chronic conditions, our caregivers are matched to the tasks that will promote the greatest level of contentment and good health. A registered nurse will meet with prospective clients before setting up any home care service to evaluate the home and client’s condition while finding out exactly what is needed and expected from our compassionate staff.
Our caregivers are hired using a ten-step approach to ensure both competency and a positive attitude. Our caregivers must have professional licensing and pass drug and background screenings before completing assessments to determine attitude, responsibility, and ethics. Once hired, our caregivers receive extensive and continuous training to ensure the highest level of professionalism while administering senior personal care. Training includes specific focus on Alzheimer’s and dementia care, as well as chronic condition and pain management training. Caregiver training is periodically updated to implement advancements in home care services, and all caregivers are educated on all of the newest systems.
