Kadan Homecare is family-owned/operated and was established in 1984 --celebrating over 33+ years in business! We are one of the first and longest-serving homecare companies in Atlanta -and one of the largest in the country (with over 350+ caregivers). Our success is attributed to our founders’ obsession with quality. Our quality begins with our hiring process and followed by our team approach to care. Our caregivers complete Kadan’s extensive training program upon hire (over 16 hrs) as well as annual training with our RN team addressing many aspects of elder care (ALS, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Hospice, etc.). Our nurses are “Teepa Snow” trained/certified in Alzheimer’s/Dementia and incorporate this memory care expertise into our caregiver training.
Kadan Homecare offers in-home personal care, companion and skilled nursing services. We address many aspects of care such as ADL’s (Activities of Daily Living): Meal Preparation, Bathing/Grooming, Light Housekeeping & Laundry, Prescription Reminders, Shopping/Errands (including transportation to/from clinical appts/treatments), Ambulation/lift transfer, Toileting, Organization of mail/bills, Companionship. We serve ALL of the Atlanta metropolitan area (16 counties).
After three decades, we understand that communication with you and your family is paramount. We also understand we are not just serving you and/or your loved one but the family as well. Each patient/client works with our team to cover all aspects of their homecare needs. Your patient is assigned a Case Manager (a trained social worker or certified rehabilitation counselor), a nurse and a field staffing coordinator. This dynamic team allows us to evaluate not only their physical care needs but address their emotional needs as well. Kadan uses this information to work with the field staffing coordinator to obtain the best caregiver “match” for your patient/client. The Case Manager is the main point of contact at Kadan Homecare for the client and will stay in constant contact with them and the rest of the Kadan team every week - or more frequently, given the patients’ needs.
