Assisting Hands Home Care is based in Woodstock and is proudly licensed by the Illinois Department of Public Health to serve Northern Illinois in McHenry, Boone, Winnebago, DeKalb and Lake counties. Our ownership includes a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP), Senior Home Safety Specialist, former Emergency Medical Technician and management includes a Staff Coordinator and Recruiter with over 20 years of healthcare HR experience and CNA experience. We also have a consulting RN and CDP with 30 years of senior care experience.

Care Services Statement
Assisting Hands provides exceptional in-home quality care to individual clients in their residences at scheduled sessions and times, up to twenty-four hours per day. Well-trained, certified and insured Caregivers facilitate the maintenance of quality of life for those in need of compassionate assistance while allowing clients to remain in the comfort of their own homes.

To offer our clients personalized in-home support services, assisting the elderly, disabled and others needing assistance to maintain quality of life. Our services support the individual's choices and preferences to be in their own home in order to maintain their dignity and independence. We assist clients in a spirit of concern for their welfare, gaining satisfaction and a sense of pride for the value that we add to their lives and to society as essential workers.

We train our caregivers using accredited, state-approved education and every caregiver is certified by a state-approved exam. Our caregivers are also trained in CPR. We insure, fingerprint and nationally background check each employee and perform reference checks as well. We provide ongoing training to help ensure the delivery of quality care using the latest knowledge and methods.

Our technology makes the difference...
We use technology to perform scheduling and monitor performance of agreed upon duties. Caregivers clock in and out and record their activities using a mobile app. Our clients also have the option to view schedules and assignments online, as well as communicate with us (though we love to talk with our clients and their family!). We also deploy technology to facilitate the training of our caregivers to ensure timely and consistent education.
