Affordable Home Care is currently serve in Western Ohio, Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, Richmond and surround Indiana. WE provides a unique community-based service that assists our clients and allows them to remain safe and independent in their own homes, hospices and assisting living facilities. We are committed to providing quality, ethical and professional services.
Our caregivers who are caring, courteous, committed to care, and eager to help our people that needed in our community. All of our caregivers are all employees of AHC and they are all carefully screened, undergo throughout background checks, are bonded, supervised and have third party liability insurance.
Our services are flexible and can be arranged for as little as a few hours a week or as many as 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays. We employed Caregivers that can help with a wide range of activities including escort to and from appointments and events.
Prior to starting service we consult to make certain that your love one’s needs and our services are a match. We also assist in making sure all resources are utilized.. ( example, Insurance, VA, Choice) We are member of Indiana Association for Home and Hospice Care, National Care Planning Council.
Companion Services
Companion Services include keeping the client company and engaging the client in any number of activities, such as Conversation; Reading; Writing; Games; Crafts; Playing Cards; Walking; Assist with Entertaining; Medication & Appointment Reminders; Escort to Appointments, Visiting Friends & Neighbours; Shopping, Events, Plays, and Religious Services.
Personal Care Services
Personal Care Services include assisting with tasks such as Grooming (Hair Care, Shaving, Cleaning Teeth/Dentures; Makeup; Dressing) Hygiene (Tub, Bed or Sponge Baths; Showers; Toileting Activities) Mobilization (Turning, Lifts and Transfers, Exercising, Walking) Eating or Feeding, as well as Monitoring of Vital Signs such as Blood Pressures, Pulse and Respiration.
Alzheimer’s Care
We work with you to establish safe and more comfortable environments, trusting relationships and techniques to maximize independence for as long as possible for those with Alzheimer's disease. Our specialized approach of encouragement and assistance helps family members cope with the challenges of Alzheimer's disease and other dementia illnesses.
All of our Caregivers are carefully screened, trained, bonded, insured, and supervised.
