Job Responsibilities

Assistance with activities of daily living may include: Personal care with bathing, dressing and grooming. Light housekeeping and laundry. Meal planning and preparation. Transportation. Companionship.
Qualifications

CNA's must be certified in the state of Florida. HHA's must have completed at least 40 hours of training or successfully completed a state of Florida approved competency test; can be a CNA that has completed a CNA training course in Florida through an adult vocation school or a licensed career education school and work while waiting to take the state CNA test; can be a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse who can show proof they are licensed in Florida or in another state; can be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing who is waiting to take their state exam for licensure. Level II background check, CPR qualified, reliable transportation, a valid drivers license and current automobile insurance. Ability to lift twenty pounds, bend, climb, stoop and stand an average of five hours per day.
