We are looking for natural-born caregivers to serve the seniors in our North Shore community (Marblehead, Swampscott, Nahant, Beverly, Danvers, Peabody, Lynn, Lynnfield). Good caregiving takes much more than the technical skills needed to help someone transition in and out of a wheelchair or give a sponge bath. We are looking for people who instinctively know when to hold a hand, rub a back, and offer an arm, and who will treat our clients like the wonderful people (not patients) that they are. We believe strongly that our caregivers should give clients joy and a purpose to their day in addition to supporting them with their daily activities.
Driver's license and reliable automobile required. CNAs preferred but not required; however, a history of providing loving care IS a must. Immediate need for overnight, weekend, and evening caregivers.
Typical duties include: assistance with showering, dressing, toileting, walking, companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, shopping, etc. In addition to providing a flexible schedule, we offer potential for advancement, bonus, award programs, and personal growth.
Our caregivers are direct employees of FirstLight HomeCare and work in the areas of Swampscott, Marblehead, Lynnfield, Lynn, Nahant, Beverly, Salem, Danvers, and Peabody. We conduct national background checks as well as drug screens.
