Personal Attendant/ Caregiver, FT/PT/PRN  Jennicare Home Health Services - Harrisburg, PA

Qualifications: Education: High school diploma, GED or educational equivalent preferred. Experience: One or more years experience working in home care or in long-term care setting is desirable, Agency will provide training to those with less experience. Excellent organizational skills required, and ability to exhibit empathetic communication style to residents, families, and co-workers.. Willing to demonstrate passion and ability to work with elderly persons.

Summary of Major Functions:  Provides one-on-one assistance to clients. Assistance may include homemaking routines, transportation to appointments and/or other outings, activities of daily living, following routines natural to the client, exercise, cooking, and other functions. Personal Attendants will always focus on engaging clients in a meaningful and life-affirming manner.
