Our Mission
The mission of CT In-Home Assistance is to provide compassionate, reliable and affordable in-home support services to frail elderly and disabled individuals in the community. The philosophy and goals of CT In-Home Assistance require the direct employment, training and supervision of its entire work force. The vulnerability of the frail elderly, chronically ill or disabled individual requires the presence of an honest, sensitive caregiver who is trained to understand and meet the needs of this population. Employees are trained to work in conjunction with other professional service providers and to become first line reporters of changes in the client's condition.
Our Services
At CT In-Home Assistance, we recognize the growing demand for supportive care service to both the frail elderly and the chronically disabled. Individuals recovering from an illness or experiencing increasing limitations in their activities of daily living need levels of help ranging from occasional light housekeeping to continuous live-in nurse's aids. This help can take the form of meal preparation, running errands, escorting outside the home environment or simply keeping company and seeing to an individual's immediate needs and comforts.
Hourly Services Include:
Chore Person: A service providing assistance to individuals experiencing difficulties with such activities as heavy housework, yard work, sidewalk maintenance and minor home repairs.

It may include preparing a snack, supervising a client's activity, providing companionship, and transporting a client to appointments, and providing recreation to individuals with cognitive impairments.
