Barksdale is a NYS licensed home care agency that has been providing home care since 1982. We are a pro-active agency, one in which practitioners and administrators work together to provide the highest quality of home care and services to our community in a multi-phase continuum of care. Our Registered Nurses, Home Health Aides and Personal Care Aides are trained and ready to provide services to private homes and institutions in the greater Westchester and Bronx Areas.

Newborn/Infant Care
Children`s Care
For new parents or those who need assistance in caring for their child, we can help with child care, meal preparation, laudry, and light housekeeping. Our nurses are qualified to care for newborn and critically ill children as well as those with mental or physical disabilities.

Hospice Care
Barksdale Home Heath Aides provide in-home Hospice care under prescribed Doctors`s orders. They offer bed side assistance and emotional support. Some of their duties include; light housekeeping, bathing assistance, change of bed linens, preparing meals (including special diets), as well as accompany cliets to doctors` appointments or on other errands.

Companion Care
Our Companion Services provide home companionship for the home bound, by providng non-medical care servics that include some of the following: Remind patient to take medication, conversation, socialization, maintain client calender, appointments, etc.

-Barksdale is on call 24 hours, day and night, 7 days a week
