Appealtoheaven.net is a web platform being designed to connect independent care givers with individuals and families seeking private home care services.
Using the social network model, already successful in businesses like DesignCrowd and Uber, Appeal to Heaven provides a platform for providers to complete a profile that educates potential clients of their training, work experience, service area, availability, and fees. Clients build a profile indicating their care needs, location, and preferences such as time of day. Prices are negotiable between clients and providers but expected to run at or below the average costs of agency services due to low overhead costs.
The Appeal to Heaven app provides a calendar for each provider, client, and team for scheduling purposes, and processes the transactions electronically. Appeal to Heaven generates its revenue through a 10% royalty for use of the Appeal to Heaven platform, so unlike most agencies where the provider in the home only receives a small fraction of the amount the client is paying, Appeal to Heaven providers receive 90% of all revenue paid by clients.
